Questions before you request
Is the file really free?
Yes, for new customers. You get one Stage 1 file per company, free of charge. You don't pay at any point, and we don't ask for a credit card. It is a full file, not a demo. Higher stages and extra options are paid as usual. Already have a Dyno account? Then this offer is not for you, but you can log in and order as usual.
How do I get my free file?
Fill in the short form on this page. Then create your Dyno account with the same email address. We check your request by hand and add one free Stage 1 credit to your account within 1 business day. Upload your read and use the credit like any paying customer.

We check every request by hand: one free file per shop, and your details must match your account. That keeps the offer open for real tuners.
What does a file cost after the test?
It depends on the car, the ECU and the options you choose. You always see the price in your account before you order. You pay with credits, and credits never expire. No subscription, no minimum order.
Which tools do you support?
All common tools, Master and Slave: Alientech KESS3 and K-TAG, Autotuner, Magic Motorsport Flex, bFlash, CMD, New Genius and WinOLS. Using something else? Pick "Other" in the form, and we'll check it.
Master or Slave: what's the difference for me?
A Master tool reads files that any file service can work on. A Slave tool is linked to one supplier: only that supplier can open its reads. With a Master tool, you can test Dyno right away.
I use a Slave tool from another supplier. Can I still get the free file?
Yes. Request it like anyone else. To use Dyno files, you first link your tool to Dyno. After you sign up, we email you the steps for your tool brand. Depending on the brand, switching takes some time and can come with a fee.
When can I get files?
Most files don't wait for office hours. Our automatic file service runs 24/7, and 75% of files are ready instantly. Files that need an engineer are handled by our file team: Monday to Friday, 8:00 to 18:00 Central European Time (2 AM to noon Eastern), with limited service until 21:00 CET (3 PM Eastern), and Saturday 9:00 to 16:00 CET.
I don't have a tool yet. Can I still start?
Yes, but the free file needs a tool to flash it. Start by creating a free Dyno account. Right after you sign up, we ask a few questions and tell you which tool fits your work. Choose "No, not yet" in the form, and you'll find the button there.
